NOX names read like a spec sheet once you know the grammar. The letters identify the player line: AT10 is Agustín Tapia, EA10 is Eduardo Alonso, ML10 is Miguel Lamperti, VK10 is the Ventus-based women’s line. The carbon number — 3K, 12K, 18K — describes the face weave: higher numbers mean a denser, firmer response; 12K plays slightly softer and more elastic than 18K. Alum adds an aluminised layer over the carbon for a more solid, stable impact feel.
The suffixes set the demand level: Xtrem is the maximum-spec version (harder, more demanding), Attack shifts balance toward the head for finishing power, Control does the opposite, Lite cuts weight for slower or younger swings, and in the Equation line Soft/Hard refers to foam density. Read the name left to right and you know the racket before the specs table.
The flagship line. Genius frames are Tapia’s match weapons: the 18K Alum is the balanced reference, the Attack and Xtrem versions push the spec toward pure offence, the Lite drops weight for faster hands.
Edu Alonso’s Xtrem-specced duo: Hybrid for all-phase aggression, Attack for full-commitment finishing. Pro-level demands, pro-level output.
Lamperti’s control-first line. The Ventus Control 3K is the softest, most placement-oriented frame in the NOX range.
The VK10 line brings the Ventus platform to a lighter, control-oriented spec — a reference for women and for any player who builds points patiently.
The Ventus platform outside the player signature lines: versatile frames at a more accessible spec, Lite included.
NOX’s young-talent line: pro-inspired geometries at a friendlier spec for developing players.
The development range: Attack, Hybrid and Control versions cover every style at a forgiving, mid-price spec.
The comfort entry point. Soft and Hard versions let you pick the foam feel; both are the most arm-friendly NOX frames we’ve reviewed.
Brand
Nox doesn’t make rackets for everyone. That’s not a criticism — it’s the most useful thing to know before browsing their 2026 lineup. Across 15 reviewed models, the brand has built one of the most internally coherent collections in padel: clear series logic, honest trade-offs, and a consistent ability to match racket identity to player type.
The Ventus series anchors the top end — two control-first rackets for defenders and a diamond-shape attack option for net aggressors, each clearly positioned for a different player archetype. The AT10 Genius family is where Nox does its most versatile work: drop-shape all-court options that score unusually close across Attacker, Hybrid and Defender profiles, paired with diamond-shape siblings for players who want to push harder toward the net. The Equation and Future series complete the range, handling accessible and intermediate-level players with the same internal logic — specialist tools at every price point, never watered-down versions of the premium models.
What the data shows is a brand that builds series with purpose rather than padding. Every Nox racket on this page has a clear identity — and a clear player it was built for. The work is deciding which one is you.
