Our Story

Built by a Player.
Powered by Data.

No brand deals. No gut feelings. Just a racket sport obsessive who got tired of buying the wrong racket — and decided to do something about it.

Player-First

Every decision starts with one question: does this actually help a player choose the right racket? If the answer is no, we don't build it.

Transparent Principles

Our methodology is fully documented — what we measure, why each parameter matters, and how the final score is assembled. Open to scrutiny at every step.

Always Evolving

The algorithm improves as more data comes in. New rackets, new sources, new feedback — the system gets sharper over time.

The Problem

I've played racket sports my whole life.
I still bought the wrong racket.

Tennis and tennis table as a kid, now padel. Rackets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. And yet, when it came time to find the right padel racket, I kept falling into the same trap everyone else does: I let the hype decide for me.

Flashy campaigns, influencer unboxings, brand ambassadors with zero relevance to my level — that was my "research." I spent good money on rackets that weren't right for my game. And I knew exactly why: there was no objective source to turn to.

"

The padel industry is brilliant at selling emotions. I wanted to build something that sells clarity instead.

The Idea

What if we treated rackets like assets?

By day, I work in financial markets — a world where decisions are made on aggregated data, not instinct. You don't bet on one outlier; you look at the full picture and find the signal in the noise.

The idea was simple: apply the same discipline to padel. Aggregate data from multiple sources. Weight for known biases. Ignore the noise. Output a number you can actually defend. That's how PadelVerdict started — as a personal spreadsheet, and eventually the site you're reading now.

From markets

Aggregate multiple sources. Weight for bias. Find the signal in the noise. Never trust a single data point.

Applied to padel

8 parameters. 3 player profiles. A consensus modifier that penalizes hype and rewards validated performance.

The result

A structured score with a documented process behind it — and a consensus modifier that shows exactly how real-world data adjusted the base calculation.

The Mission

Your racket, decoded.

PadelVerdict exists for the player who wants to make a smart purchase, not just a popular one. Whether you're figuring out what "balance point" even means, or hunting for marginal gains at an advanced level — we want to give you the clearest, most honest picture of any racket on the market.

No paid placements. No affiliate-driven scores. No brand bias. Affiliate links exist to keep the project running — they are always disclosed and they never influence a verdict.
