StarVie Tritón Power+ 2027 Review: the family cannon, no apologies

VERDICT 7.9POWER 8.7STABILITY 8.1ATTACKER 7.91

The pure artillery of the Tritón line: top-drawer power, and a sweet spot that forgives nothing. The Power+ is the frame the 2027 family points at the left side of the court, and the chart reads like a warning label: a 0.67 spread between the best and the worst column, the widest of the StarVie charts we have scored this season, with attack reading first and everything else asked to keep up.

The spec sheet first. Diamond mold with a high balance, declared at 358 g with a ± 8 g tolerance, an 18K Carbon Hybrid face with the Spin Boost Tech finish and H-Eva Power foam inside: the hardest core of the family. The TriTech Core heart is new for 2027, the Five Sides profile stiffens the frame, and the Anatomic Bridge with the Longer Handgrip completes a spec sheet built for leverage. Stiffness reads 72/100 on our bench scale.

Lineage

What actually changes 2026→2027

The heart architecture is new, and the score gaps against our Triton Power+ 2026 review also reflect the evolution of our proprietary scoring algorithm. Read the deltas as both.

  • Heart: new TriTech Core architecture, three structural channels through the throat.
  • Face: 18K Carbon Hybrid weave with the Spin Boost Tech rough finish.
  • Core: H-Eva Power foam, the hardest density of the 2027 family.
  • Frame: Five Sides profile, Anatomic Bridge and the Longer Handgrip for two-handed drives.
  • Grip: Z-Shock insert to filter what the hard core lets through.
Parameter 2026 2027 Δ Why
Control 7.8 7.3 -0.5 Our current algorithm taxes a high-balance diamond harder; the face itself stays precise
Maneuverability 7.2 6.9 -0.3 The new heart adds structure up top, and the methodology weighs it
Sweetspot 7.2 6.6 -0.6 H-Eva Power is honest, not plush: off-centre contact reads harsher under the current weights
Playability 7.1 6.7 -0.4 Follows the sweetspot and maneuverability readings; the composite does the arithmetic
Verdict 8.2 7.9 -0.3 Base 7.91, no excellence bonus, no consensus modifier

Power, spin, comfort and stability stay within the noise band and off the table. The 2026 page was scored with a previous version of our algorithm: part of every gap is our methodology evolving, not a step back by the product.

Power 8.7 ranks twenty-fifth among the 184 frames we have scored. Sweetspot 6.6 sits at number 182 of the same table: the most demanding face of the 2027 season so far. Attacker 7.91 · Hybrid 7.23 · Defender 7.03.

On court

How the StarVie Tritón Power+ 2027 plays

POWER 8.7STABILITY 8.1

The heaviest artillery of the family

Here is the headline. Power 8.7 stands twenty-fifth among the 184 frames we have scored, first among the StarVie frames we have scored this season: above the shoulder the ball leaves with an extra gear that needs no help from your mechanics. Stability 8.1 keeps the face square when the exchange gets violent, so volleys driven through the middle arrive with interest. The TriTech heart and the Five Sides frame are the structure behind both numbers.

SWEETSPOT 6.6MANEUVERABILITY 6.9

The bill: a face that forgives nothing

The weakest column is the whole story. Sweetspot 6.6 sits near the bottom of our database, at number 182 of 184: contact that drifts toward the frame dies there, and blocks played late come back short. Maneuverability 6.9 is the high balance showing up in rushed defence: the head arrives when your feet did the work early, not when the wrist tries to cheat the swing.

COMFORT 6.5PLAYABILITY 6.7

Hard foam, honest arm

Comfort 6.5 is the lowest reading of the batch, and the reason is the construction itself: H-Eva Power is the hardest core of the family and stiffness reads 72/100, so the arm hears every off day. The Z-Shock grip cleans part of the vibration, not the character. Playability 6.7 follows: over a long match this frame asks for a fresh, trained arm to keep its promises.

Shot by shot

Shot by shot

  • Baseline: only with early feet; Maneuverability 6.9 punishes late, wristy recoveries near the glass.
  • Volleys: real penetration through the middle; Power 8.7 and Stability 8.1 keep the face square at full speed.
  • Bandeja: heavy and straight; Control 7.3 rewards the full swing over the touch play.
  • Víbora: honest bite from the rough finish; Spin 7.7 works when the wrist snaps, stays quiet when it does not.
  • Smash: the closing shot of the Tritón family; Power 8.7 brings the ball back over your own side of the net.

Technology

What does the TriTech Core actually change?

The new heart is three structural channels through the throat, and it works with the Five Sides profile to keep the frame from twisting at 72/100 stiffness. That is where Stability 8.1 comes from: geometry doing the work that foam alone cannot, so the face stays square when a hard ball hits the upper half. The Anatomic Bridge opens the angle at contact, and the Longer Handgrip leaves room for the two-handed drive from the back of the court.

The rest of the sheet serves the same brief. The 18K Carbon Hybrid weave keeps the answer consistent at speed, the Spin Boost Tech finish grips the ball on sliced contact, and the Z-Shock grip filters part of the vibration the H-Eva Power core lets through. Our numbers were taken in the stock configuration: with a frame this specialised, the stock setup is the one we would keep.

Player fit

Who should buy it, and who shouldn’t

✓ MADE FOR

The finished left-side attacker

Attacker 7.91 tops the chart with a 0.88 gap on the next profile: this frame knows exactly what it is. You centre the face on every swing, your smash already closes points, and you want a racket that adds a gear instead of a safety net. Power 8.7 finishes what your mechanics start; Stability 8.1 holds the face steady at your speed.

✗ NOT FOR

The wrist defender, and tender elbows

Sweetspot 6.6 and Maneuverability 6.9 mean rushed, reactive defence costs you real points, and Comfort 6.5 never softens the bill. If you want the Tritón engine with gentler manners, the Tritón Balance+ 2027 is the sibling built for that job. The Power+ keeps its hard edge for arms that can afford it.

The verdict

Verdict 7.9: the cannon with conditions

The arithmetic is transparent: base 7.91 from the winning Attacker profile, no excellence bonus, no consensus modifier this time, because independent measurements are still missing. The Tritón Power+ 2027 is the purest cannon StarVie has built for 2027, and it never pretends otherwise: it hands you the hardest face of the family and asks for finished mechanics in return. If your arm signs what your swing starts, this is the StarVie that signs with you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the PadelVerdict score for the StarVie Tritón Power+ 2027?

The overall score is 7.9, built from a base of 7.91 with no consensus modifier and no excellence bonus. Profiles: Attacker 7.91 / Hybrid 7.23 / Defender 7.03, a 0.67 spread that defines a specialist frame. Power 8.7 ranks twenty-fifth among the 184 rackets we have scored.

What is the difference between the Tritón Power+ 2027 and the 2026 model?

The TriTech Core heart is new, and the spec sheet gains the Five Sides profile and the Anatomic Bridge. The verdict moves from 8.2 to 7.9, but our 2026 page was scored with a previous version of our algorithm, so part of the gap reflects an evolving methodology, not a step back by the product.

What is the actual weight of the StarVie Tritón Power+ 2027?

The declared figure is 358 g with a ± 8 g tolerance, and we have no independent scale reading yet, so treat that window as the reference. The balance is declared high, which matches how the frame swings at the net.

Is the Tritón Power+ 2027 good for intermediate players?

Only the polished ones. Our taxonomy lands on Intermediate with an Advanced primary, and Sweetspot 6.6 is the reason: the face forgives little and the high balance asks for early feet. Intermediates still building contact should start with the Astrum+ Black 2027.

Which rival makes sense if the Power+ 2027 feels too demanding?

The Siux Fenix Elite 2026 keeps the diamond brief with a wider, calmer face at Verdict 8.2. For the full parameter map before you commit, open the head-to-head with the Bullpadel Hack 05 27.
