Xcalion Infinity H1 Review: real attack, control finally included
Updated September 25, 2026: after four months of tournament and league use, we have rescored control, comfort, sweetspot and stability. The verdict moves from 7.5 to 8.4. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light 2026 now joins as the reference rival.
Four months ago, this racket looked like a sharp attacking tool with a narrow doorway. Match play has widened that doorway. The power was never in doubt. What has changed is how often the frame lets you use it without losing the next ball.
The Infinity H1 still speaks with a dry, firm voice. It still asks for technique. Yet tournament rhythm reveals a more complete diamond: fast in the hand, stable through contact, and much more precise than its first impression suggested.
Power reaches 8.8, but Control at 8.3 is the real upgrade. Attacker 8.24 · Hybrid 7.97 · Defender 7.95. The 0.29 spread closes the old story of the narrow specialist: this Infinity remains offensive, but it no longer abandons the rest of the game.
On court
How the Xcalion Infinity H1 2026 plays
The smash has teeth
The diamond shape, high balance and ALMA carbon give the ball real depth when the swing is committed. On overhead shots, the head arrives quickly and exits with force. The racket does not inflate a lazy arm. It rewards a full one.
Precision survives match pressure
This is the clearest correction after long-term play. Directional control holds up on volleys, chiquitas and fast changes of angle. The firm face still punishes vague preparation, but it no longer feels unpredictable when the rally accelerates.
Light enough to steal time
The very low static weight changes the geometry equation. The balance is high, yet recovery at the net is quick. The sweetspot is broader than expected, and the frame holds its line when contact moves slightly away from the middle.
Firm, but no longer harsh
Comfort remains the lowest score. The impact is direct, and players with elbow pain should still be careful. Four months of match use soften the earlier verdict: the light frame reduces strain, and centered contact never feels brutal.
Shot by shot
Shot by shot
From the baseline: Control 8.3 gives the lob enough height and direction, provided the preparation starts early.
Volleys: Maneuverability 8.3 makes reaction speed the strength, while Stability 8.2 keeps hard balls from twisting the face.
Bandeja: Spin 8.0 helps keep the ball low without forcing the shoulder into an unnatural swing.
Víbora: The firm carbon face produces a fast, flat ball; Power 8.8 gives the shot extra threat.
Smash: This is the clearest weapon. Commit fully and the frame returns pace with interest.
Technology
The lightweight monocoque changes the geometry
Xcalion builds the Infinity H1 around a one-piece monocoque mold and high-density ALMA carbon. The declared weight is 312 g without grip or strap, while previous field checks placed equipped units in a 321–327 g range. The frame is 38 mm thick, with a 12.5 cm handle and a rough 3D XC surface.
That construction explains both sides of the character. The carbon shell gives the racket its dry response and high power ceiling. The low mass protects hand speed and makes the high balance less punishing. What it does not add is plushness. Comfort 7.0 remains a boundary, not a defect.
Player fit
Who should use it, and who should not
The advanced attacker who plays real matches
If you live at the net, play tournaments and want a fast frame with genuine finishing power, this revision widens your margin. It also suits the technical hybrid player who builds with placement and attacks when the opening appears.
Players looking for softness or free depth
If you want a soft impact, a huge sweetspot or easy help from the back of the court, the feel remains too direct. If your arm already complains with firm frames, Comfort 7.0 is the number to respect.
The rivals
Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light 2026: faster, less heavy
The Oxdog is faster in pure hand speed, with Maneuverability 8.9 against the Xcalion’s 8.3. The Infinity H1 answers with more finishing punch: Power 8.8 against 8.2. Its sweetspot also reads higher at 7.5 against 6.8. Choose the Oxdog for maximum speed and dampening. Choose the Xcalion for heavier attacking ball and a more forgiving center.
The verdict
Attack finds its control
The updated verdict is 8.4. Attacker leads at 8.24, Hybrid follows at 7.97 and Defender sits at 7.95. The 0.29 spread is tighter than before, and that is the story: this remains an attacking diamond, but now it builds the point before closing it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the updated PadelVerdict score?
The verdict is 8.4, built from Attacker 8.24, Hybrid 7.97 and Defender 7.95. A +0.2 consensus adjustment reflects four months of competitive field validation and consistent technical data.
Why did the score change so much?
The first assessment was too severe on control, comfort, sweetspot and stability. Repeated tournament play showed a more predictable and stable frame. The change is a revision of our judgment, not a physical change to the racket.
How does it compare with the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light?
The Xcalion wins Power by 0.6 and Sweetspot by 0.7. The Oxdog wins Maneuverability by 0.6 and Comfort by 0.4. Their verdicts are 8.4 and 8.2 respectively.
Is it comfortable enough for frequent competition?
Comfort scores 7.0. That is acceptable for healthy arms used to firm carbon frames, but it is not a protective score for existing elbow pain.
